2.4. Greenhouse Science

Understanding Earth’s climate system and how humans are interacting with it requires an understanding of the greenhouse effect.

Use the following readings

CCE&C: p. B1-B4 (of document, not pdf page numbers)
WWK: p. 7-8 (of document, not pdf page numbers)

and view the following

PBS video: “The Physics of the Greenhouse Effect”  (http://ca.pbslearningmedia.org/resource/phy03.sci.phys.matter.greenhouse2/global-warming-the-physics-of-the-greenhouse-effect/)

Then write 2-3 paragraphs explaining the greenhouse effect and what Earth would be like if there were no natural greenhouse effect.
