Here are 2 of my big ideas:
1. Learners will understand that they will need to make choices in their own lives and their communities to deal with effects of climate change.
2. Learners will be able to differentiate between approaches to mitigating against the effects of climate change to select those with equitable results for developed and developing world.
I like both of your ideas. I like that you highlight not only choices that people must make in their own lives, but also in their communities as we must understand that dealing with climate change is not only an individual battle, but one we must make as a community as a whole -- local and global. The second idea you have listed is a very important topic, and I can see it as very poignant as it might bring in very important societal and political implications.
